FOUNDER MEMBERS: A brief history

Over the course of 2008, a roundtable of marketing professionals representing a selection of Harley Street clinics articulated the aims of what was then launched as the Harley Street Alliance. In brief, this selection of people imagined the central London clinical community as a single entity -- in effect, Harley Street plc -- and worked out what its strategic marketing philosophy would be. Given the limited marketing resources of so many individual clinics in the area, it was agreed that the best way forward was in pooling resources to go after the sorts of patients it would be difficult for any single clinic to reach on its own. The major focus now is in taking the Harley Street message to the world.
